Nostalgic summer awaits visitors to Cedar Point and Kings Island

Feeling nostalgic?

This summer promises to be a throwback for guests at Cedar Point and Kings Island.

The newest attractions at Ohio’s premiere amusement parks will have a touch of nostalgia, and two coasters are returning to their original color schemes.

Kings Island is bringing back its antique autos ride. The Kings Mills Antique Autos feature replicas of a 1911 Ford Model T and will allow guests to take a three-minute ride along a guided track course by the Racer roller coaster. The cars are all new, but they are a throwback to the park’s original Les Taxis attraction.

Cedar Point’s new attraction this summer is the Forbidden Frontier, where guests will be able to interact with residents and explore a small town situated where the park’s former dinosaur attraction and water ride were located.
